SHOO FLY, DON'T BOTHER ME

I usually only post current events that are going on here, but I feel the Lord has impressed on my heart to share personal words of encouragement and testimony on here too. Hope what happened to me touches your heart and assures you that He is there for you too. <3

How wonderful it is to serve the everlasting God that is full of love, grace, peace and mercy; a God that wants so bad to bless His children but if only we'd let Him.

I am definitely guilty of finding solace, comfort and strength from other areas of life rather than from the Source of which created it all. I see now more than ever that God will allow the pain, grumblings and suffering of life to enter in order to refine, replenish and strengthen His children.

I've been struggling with some "stinking thinking" lately and to be honest it's been very hard to brush it off. It literally taunts me even in my dreams. I couldn't help but ask God, "Lord, if you already confirmed that 'that's' not part of your will, then why don't you help me get it out of my head? Why don't you completely eject it all from my heart and mind?" Throughout this time I cry out to God for strength and am constantly rebuking the thoughts that could alter my destiny and He grants me His strength, but the ache is still there and the thoughts come rumbling back a few hours later, sometimes even minutes.... and there I go again, praying, rebuking, praying, rebuking. It's scary to think that a single thought, if cultivated enough, turns into an action that can leave you reaping a destiny of failure for you and generations to come. This is what this thought is for me. Something that God has explicitly said NO to but the flesh wants to say yes to; it roars "just settle" while the Spirit whispers "no, sit tight and wait on the Lord, just a little longer"

And God is so faithful that right when you feel like you're at the point of maybe faltering, breaking or giving in, He pierces the heart with His loving whisper and speaks. He said, "You can't pour new wine into old wine-skins", and bam, just like that, a simple sentence spoke several sentences and volumes into my heart!!

Isn't that funny how God can say one little thing, one little word, and His sentence, word or fragment turns into a language that the heart understands saying MORE than what He said. The Spirit interprets it for our feeble minds and customizes it to our vernacular elaborating on the thing which was spoken.

"You can't pour new wine into old wine-skins" answered questions and spoke new things to my heart. It became clear to me that this test was my storm and God sees and knows my pain. Why is He allowing it? Because He wants to pour "new wine" into my life, but He can't if I still have on that old wine-skin of a mind. He's testing me to see if I'm still carrying the old mentality that would give into the impulse of feelings and emotions or if Romans 12:2 is what I'm truly working on. "Be not conformed to the comings and goings of this world but be ye TRANSFORMED by the RENEWING of your MIND." (Princess Bible Study Mission Statement Scripture - yay!) The word transformed in Greek means METAMORPHOSIS meaning you can undergo a complete metamorphosis, the way a caterpillar turns into a butterfly, with just the renewing of your mind! If that's not awesome I don't know what is. And if that's not a hard thing to do, I don't know what is. It definitely is not easy, it takes a training of the mind, a lot of praying and rebuking those "old" thoughts when they come, but it can be done.

The other exciting thing besides Him answering me (He always gives MORE than enough, more than what you are asking for, more than what you thought possible) is that He let me know that "new wine" is about to be poured into my life!!! aaaahhhh!!! The visions, dreams and goals that He has deposited into my heart are about to be taken to another level. He's about to pour in new blessings and I CAN'T WAIT. Who on earth needs a fortune teller or tarot cards when you have God Almighty who says He wrote out your days before one of them even came to be!! Psalm 25:14 says "the SECRET of the Lord is with those that fear Him, and He will make known to them His covenant" Now tell me if that's not a bombshell of information! So in other words God is saying "when you respect me I will tell you secrets." He will give us privileged information, cause you to understand things that you would NEVER understand and tell you what He has in store for YOU!! ::sigh:: I'm in love. He's simply amazing.

All of this can't help but bring to mind the song and scripture that says "Who am I that you are mindful of me, that you hear me when I call?" God Almighty, Creator of the Universe, Author and Finisher of Life does not have to answer me when I call but He does. I don't understand it and I don't have to, all I know is that I'm His princess and He's my Dad, the King, and that satisfies my soul unlike any other thing on the planet. If you don't have a relationship with Him or maybe you do but you haven't talked to Him in a while, I encourage you to. He patiently waits for you and watches over you all day long. He loves you. He says, "Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened." Matthew 7:7

PRINCESS BIBLE STUDY TO BE CONTINUED.....

Just wanted to give everyone an update on Princess Bible Study. It went on for 4 months and is currently on a hiatus. After my grandpa's passing in September, I just felt like it was time to give it all a break and re-center, re-group and re-think up a new plan, so that's what I'm doing. I'm putting a new twist on it and gathering virtual material, articles and ideas through prayer. I can't wait for it to be back and better than ever but until then, please keep the ministry in your prayers.

MY MAJESTY'S MINISTRY'S FIRST TRIP EVER!

RESTORATION RANCH - MIDFIELD, TX

It's been a while.. yes, I know. Sorry, I'm pretty bad at this blogging thing. I must get used to it!

So much has happened since the Bonfire in July! The Bonfire was a success by the way. There were so many women that were loosed from their pains and sufferings that had been hiding in their heart for quite some time. We sang, we ate, we laughed, we cried, we worshiped all under God's night sky that he painted for us. It was beautiful. At the end of it all, we were laying down on our backs singing praises to our King while Danny (thx danny, you did a great job!!) led us in worship on his guitar and we got to see not ONE, not TWO, but THREE SHOOTING STARS! I took it as a confirmation that the Lord was very pleased with all that we gave up to Him that night. <3

As of recently, the most exciting thing we've been looking forward to is our trip to the Restoration Ranch. For those of you that have never heard about the ranch before, you can learn more at www.plowon.org and see what it's all about. The ranch is made successful by Paul & Billie Kaye Tsika along with their two sons and two daughters-in-law.

The way I met Paul is a long, super-natural story that I'll save for another day. It's such a huge testimony that most people stay with their jaw dropped once hearing it.

I haven't seen Paul for many years. I only saw him once, but what he did for me forever stayed in my heart and I never forgot his act of kindness and what he had told me about his ranch. I always wanted to call him to say thank you and maybe see if I could go pay the ranch a visit sometime but I never did UNTIL God stirred my heart and got my mind running one day (isn't that just like Him). To make a long story short, I got in touch with Paul and got to thank him for all he did for me six years ago (he actually still remembered me! haha). I told him that my life had changed immensely since then and that I now have a ministry, My Majesty's Ministry, and that I was wondering if it would be possible if we (Princess Bible Study girls) could take a trip up there. He got together with his wife and staff and they made an exception for us. You see, the ranch is usually exclusively for couples that are working on RESTORING their marriage. It's a peaceful, quiet and beautiful place to escape to. Paul & Billie counsel these couples free of charge. They not only counsel them but offer them all the amenities of the ranch. They're just too awesome!

There's lots to do out there and I know we're going to have a great time! We're all currently reading Paul & Billie's book GET MARRIED, STAY MARRIED. It's an absolutely beautiful book that's full of knowledge & wisdom. It teaches you about the meaning of true love, God's purpose for marriage and gives you the tools to have a lasting, healthy & happy relationship with the Lord as your solid foundation.

Oh, precious Father how we love thee! Thank you for this opportunity that you've given us to head out to the ranch and nourish our spirits with your word and fellowship. Thank you for Paul & Billie and their family. May our hearts and minds be open to all You have to show us and may your perfect will be done.

SPA DAY FUNDRAISER FOR ESCALERA FAMILY

THIS UPDATE WAS LONG OVERDUE!! I HAD IT TYPED BUT NEVER POSTED BECAUSE I HADN'T UPLOADED THE PICS! OOPSIE! HAHA! SORRY!

I know it's been a while since I've written and kept things updated on here but the honest truth is that I've been so busy with my jobs and the tasks that God has called me to do that I don't really have time to write sometimes. Kudos to all those who keep their blog updated on a regular basis! Bare with me, I'm still learning =)

Praise the Lord of Lords to the Highest. He is magnificent, holy and everything true. My heart sings every time I think about how He pulls through for the ministry time after time. My best friend's brother was in a tragic car accident that has left him not being able to move from his neck down. He is a quadriplegic. It's been an extremely tough, tough time for the family as they've had to move to another country, let alone have to deal with the pains and stressors that something as horrific as this can bring.

They have no insurance, so the medical bills have sky rocketed right through the roof since he's been in the hospital for three weeks - we're talking hundreds of thousands of dollars. This isn't including the rehabilitation he's going to need once he's out. He only has a 3-4 month window of time to get into a rehab before his muscles contract forever. Rehab is $2500 a day! This also doesn't include the equipment he's going to need at home in order to survive.

My Majesty's Ministry organized a Spa Day Fundraiser for the Escalera family. For those of you that don't know, My Majesty's Ministry is a local non-profit organization out of McAllen, TX that reaches out to people around the globe and in our community by showing the love of Jesus Christ. I had been praying that God would direct me in what type of fundraiser to organize and only a day later my cousin, Bonnie calls me to suggest a Spa Day!

Bonnie donated her services as a licensed cosmetologist, brought her tools, equipment and product. She also found a sponsor for the event. Beauticontrol set up shop and did a free skin analysis on all our supporters PLUS they provided all their products to be used at every station. Beauticontrol was used at our foot scrub station, hand scrub station, lip plumping station and facial station. My friend Andrea who works at De Sanchez offered her massage skills and left everyone floating on cloud 9 after her magical fingers were done with our backs lol My good friend Ashley not only helped me host ALL day but did all the hand scrubs. Merissa thank you for coming by to help us out. Mayela who owns REDUCE ONE DIET CENTER (go to her if you need someone to guide you into a healthy eating plan!!) donated her place of business to transform into a SPA for a day. Thank you for that Mayela. My friend Ray got us some good pricing over at Copy Plus and printed our invitations ASAP. Thank you Ray. My Daddy let us borrow all his chairs from his office to set up our little waiting area and is always my strong anchor of support in everything that I dream of doing with the ministry. Thanks Daddy!! My girlfriends (most of them from Princess Bible Study) came by and got the works done on themselves! Thank you girls!!! I love you all.

SPA DAY was a success because of every single one of you and we were able to bless the Escalera family in more ways than one. Of course none of this would've been possible without God's grace, love and movement in every single angle of this fundraiser, so to HIM be all the praise and glory! I love you, my Miracle Worker, You!! You never let go through the calm & through storm. You never let go and are always there for me. I love you.
