MY MAJESTY'S MINISTRY'S FIRST TRIP EVER!

RESTORATION RANCH - MIDFIELD, TX

 It's been a while.. yes, I know. Sorry, I'm pretty bad at this blogging thing. I must get used to it! 

 

So much has happened since the Bonfire in July! The Bonfire was a success by the way. There were so many women that were loosed from their pains and sufferings that had been hiding in their heart for quite some time. We sang, we ate, we laughed, we cried, we worshiped all under God's night sky that he painted for us. It was beautiful. At the end of it all, we were laying down on our backs singing praises to our King while Danny (thx danny, you did a great job!!) led us in worship on his guitar and we got to see not ONE, not TWO, but THREE SHOOTING STARS! I took it as a confirmation that the Lord was very pleased with all that we gave up to Him that night. <3

As of recently, the most exciting thing we've been looking forward to is our trip to the Restoration Ranch. For those of you that have never heard about the ranch before, you can learn more at www.plowon.org and see what it's all about. The ranch is made successful by Paul & Billie Kaye Tsika along with their two sons and two daughters-in-law. 

The way I met Paul is a long, super-natural story that I'll save for another day. It's such a huge testimony that most people stay with their jaw dropped once hearing it.

I haven't seen Paul for many years. I only saw him once, but what he did for me forever stayed in my heart and I never forgot his act of kindness and what he had told me about his ranch. I always wanted to call him to say thank you and maybe see if I could go pay the ranch a visit sometime but I never did UNTIL God stirred my heart and got my mind running one day (isn't that just like Him). To make a long story short, I got in touch with Paul and got to thank him for all he did for me six years ago (he actually still remembered me! haha). I told him that my life had changed immensely since then and that I now have a ministry, My Majesty's Ministry, and that I was wondering if it would be possible if we (Princess Bible Study girls) could take a trip up there. He got together with his wife and staff and they made an exception for us. You see, the ranch is usually exclusively for couples that are working on RESTORING their marriage. It's a peaceful, quiet and beautiful place to escape to. Paul & Billie counsel these couples free of charge. They not only counsel them but offer them all the amenities of the ranch. They're just too awesome!

There's lots to do out there and I know we're going to have a great time! We're all currently reading Paul & Billie's book GET MARRIED, STAY MARRIED. It's an absolutely beautiful book that's full of knowledge & wisdom. It teaches you about the meaning of true love, God's purpose for marriage and gives you the tools to have a lasting, healthy & happy relationship with the Lord as your solid foundation.

Oh, precious Father how we love thee! Thank you for this opportunity that you've given us to head out to the ranch and nourish our spirits with your word and fellowship. Thank you for Paul & Billie and their family. May our hearts and minds be open to all You have to show us and may your perfect will be done.

SPA DAY FUNDRAISER FOR ESCALERA FAMILY

THIS UPDATE WAS LONG OVERDUE!! I HAD IT TYPED BUT NEVER POSTED BECAUSE I HADN'T UPLOADED THE PICS! OOPSIE! HAHA! SORRY!

I know it's been a while since I've written and kept things updated on here but the honest truth is that I've been so busy with my jobs and the tasks that God has called me to do that I don't really have time to write sometimes. Kudos to all those who keep their blog updated on a regular basis! Bare with me, I'm still learning =)

Praise the Lord of Lords to the Highest. He is magnificent, holy and everything true. My heart sings every time I think about how He pulls through for the ministry time after time. My best friend's brother was in a tragic car accident that has left him not being able to move from his neck down. He is a quadriplegic. It's been an extremely tough, tough time for the family as they've had to move to another country, let alone have to deal with the pains and stressors that something as horrific as this can bring.

They have no insurance, so the medical bills have sky rocketed right through the roof since he's been in the hospital for three weeks - we're talking hundreds of thousands of dollars. This isn't including the rehabilitation he's going to need once he's out. He only has a 3-4 month window of time to get into a rehab before his muscles contract forever. Rehab is $2500 a day! This also doesn't include the equipment he's going to need at home in order to survive.

My Majesty's Ministry organized a Spa Day Fundraiser for the Escalera family. For those of you that don't know, My Majesty's Ministry is a local non-profit organization out of McAllen, TX that reaches out to people around the globe and in our community by showing the love of Jesus Christ. I had been praying that God would direct me in what type of fundraiser to organize and only a day later my cousin, Bonnie calls me to suggest a Spa Day!

Bonnie donated her services as a licensed cosmetologist, brought her tools, equipment and product. She also found a sponsor for the event. Beauticontrol set up shop and did a free skin analysis on all our supporters PLUS they provided all their products to be used at every station. Beauticontrol was used at our foot scrub station, hand scrub station, lip plumping station and facial station. My friend Andrea who works at De Sanchez offered her massage skills and left everyone floating on cloud 9 after her magical fingers were done with our backs lol My good friend Ashley not only helped me host ALL day but did all the hand scrubs. Merissa thank you for coming by to help us out. Mayela who owns REDUCE ONE DIET CENTER (go to her if you need someone to guide you into a healthy eating plan!!) donated her place of business to transform into a SPA for a day. Thank you for that Mayela. My friend Ray got us some good pricing over at Copy Plus and printed our invitations ASAP. Thank you Ray. My Daddy let us borrow all his chairs from his office to set up our little waiting area and is always my strong anchor of support in everything that I dream of doing with the ministry. Thanks Daddy!! My girlfriends (most of them from Princess Bible Study) came by and got the works done on themselves! Thank you girls!!! I love you all. 

SPA DAY was a success because of every single one of you and we were able to bless the Escalera family in more ways than one. Of course none of this would've been possible without God's grace, love and movement in every single angle of this fundraiser, so to HIM be all the praise and glory! I love you, my Miracle Worker, You!! You never let go through the calm & through storm. You never let go and are always there for me. I love you.

BONFIRE NIGHT!!!!

ok, so sorry I haven't posted in a while, it's just that things have been crazy-busy for My Majesty's Ministry - Thank God! He is doing everything He promised He would! We even have our own Radio Show!! More info and details on that later BUT FIRST - BONFIRE!!!!!!!! 

This party is going to be monumental and life changing. I feel the Spirit of God stir every single time I talk about it, it never fails. I believe that the reason is because the symbolism behind this is so strong and uncanny. there are so many dead weights that drag us down to suffocate at the bottom of the sea of life and occasionally when we try coming up and gasping for air, IT or THEY tend to pull us back down. These weights are hindering you from fulfilling your destiny, the God-given purpose that was ordained before the foundation of the earth was laid. He knit you together in your mother's womb and brought you forth on the day that you were born; you are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are not a mistake; He makes no mistakes. There is purpose for everyone walking this earth. Talents and gifts that are embedded inside your heart that no other human can accomplish. You are a unique design - God's masterpiece. Most of us never get to see what we were created for because we allow ourselves to hold on to people, things or thoughts that act as leeches in our life and suck us dry, but every day is a new day and is a chance to loose these things and let them go! 

The BONFIRE will be a point of contact in our life for that to happen. This year and every year women will come from everywhere to be a part of this great divine appointment that breaks the chains this world has put us under. We'll be getting rid of everything that hinders us from fulfilling our DESTINY in CHRIST, throw it in the fire and BURN it!
